Adams Bridge and ancient civilization

The Tamil people live in the southern part of India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. Their Dravidian Language is spoken in those places and variations thereof can be found as far up as Pakistan and Nepal as well as Singapore, Malaysia and even Madagascar.

I mention this because it confirms the Tamils beliefs that they come from a now sunken continent from which their ancestors fled to India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Madagascar. In ancient Tamil accounts this sunken continent is referred to a variety of names but today it is called "Kumari Kandam" or Lemuria.

Of course this neatly agrees with all other ancient sources elsewhere saying that there was a massive flood that submerged all the land - an idea that modern academia totally rejects. And guess what? The first people of Madagascar are not Africans or Arabs, as the vicinity would suggest, but Austronesians.

A Dictionary Project of the Government of Tamil Nadu (the Government of South India) published the following Timeline for the History of the Tamil people:

200 000 to 50 000 BC: Evolution of the Tamil and their Language
50 000 BC: Kumari Kandam Civilization
16 000 BC: Kumari Kandam Submerged
6087 BC: Second Tamil Kingdom established
1780 BC: Third Tamil Kingdom established

Flying chariots

Scientists have acknowledged that the language, the people, the culture and the literature are some of the oldest to be found on earth - anywhere.

Scientists have acutally uncovered a large amount of giant eggs and skeletons of Sauropods (huge Reptilian Dinosaurs) in the area. I mention this because some of the sangam (the oldest Tamil literature, most of which is lost) mentions Reptilian-like beings living alongside humans.

Ancient Tamil literature may also be among the earliest to mention flying chariots, a concept later discovered in other cultures and religious texts.

Tamil researchers seem to have discovered that their language went through a De-Evolution rather than an Evolution. They refer to the language as it was thousands of years ago to the "golden age" of their language. This would seem to confirm the idea of an advanced civilization in pre-history.

Tamil Nadu is also the home of Jainism a Religion that is of unknown and mysterious origins of which some rumor it was carried down from the pre-flood days. This image depicts the rather advanced looking Cosmology of Jainism.

Adams bridge

Western Academics have been harsh in trying to debunk the Tamils history. One reason for this must be that  it does not match western views of History. Another is of course that after such a long time evidence supporting it is hard to come by. However, once in a while evidence comes along that makes you scratch your head and ask: "What if...?". One such pieces of evidence is known as Adams Bridge.

Geological Survey of India (GSI) carried out a special programme called “Project Rameswaram” that concluded that age data of corals indicate that the Rameswaram island has evolved since 125,000 years ago.

Geological evidence suggests that this bridge is a former land connection between India and Sri Lanka. It confirms Tamil legends about the area being above water in ancient times. But not only that, the Bridge also confirms Hindu legends. The name Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu (Sanskrit; setu: bridge) was given to this bridge of shoals in Rameshwaram, as Hindu legend identifies it with the bridge built by the Vanara (monkey-men) army of Rama , which he used to reach Lanka and rescue his wife Sita from the Rakshasa king, Ravana, as stated in the Sanskrit epic Ramayana.

Archaeologists have found evidence of human settlements in Sri Lanka ranging back an incredible 500 000 years (or, according to more conservative estimates 125 000 years). There is evidence of modern human man residing in Sri Lanka as far back as 34 000 BC.

Sri Lanka also features subterranean cave systems which inhabited people. Evidence was found for human habitation in complex cave and underground tunnels as far back as 2700 BC. Buddhists, who arrived later, turned these habitations into Temples.

I mention this because just like the pre-flood and post-flood myths from China, South America and the Middle East, Hindu Mythology, Tamil Mythology and Sri Lankan Mythology mention subterranean dwellers, as well as Giants that lived in pre-flood times. Mahasona is the name of an ancient Sinhalese (Sri Lankan) Giant who later become a demon in folklore.

Finally, what Tamil Nadu is best known for are the most ancient "skyscrapers" in the world. Believe it or not, there are more than 33000 of these scattered across the land and some of them are thousands of years old.

Several years ago the BBC published an article regarding a 9,000 year old sunken city off the coast of India.

Lemuria and Kumari Kandam

We are all aware that the origin of the Tamil people and their culture is shrouded in deep mystery. Though there are many traditions narrated in early literature, “Kumari Kandam”, the land that lay to the south of India and, which later submerged in the Indian Ocean, has been a matter of conjecture for a study by scholars.

Two American eminent geologists McKenzie and Sclater have clearly explained that Africa and South America were locked together as part of the primitive continent until about 200 million years ago.

The present formations of India, Arabia, Africa, Antarctica, South America and Australia started breaking up due to natural upheavals and moving to different parts of the earth at the rate of 15,000 years per mile on an average and found their places in the Asian Continent. The movement of the earth mass, called Navalam Theevu in Tamil, caused the formation of the present continent of India.

There was a general belief that both Lemuria and Kumari Kandam were one and the same. However, it has been established by Frank Joseph, Secretary for Ancient American Association, in his book “The Lost Civilization of Lemuria”, the existence of a land called Lemuria, one of the world's oldest civilizations, about 2.5 lakh years ago, in Indonesia. Hence, Lemuria and Kumari Kandam, which existed in southern part of India, are different lands.

Mr. Joseph has also established that the Mohenjodaro letters of Eastern Islands are nearly 1,00,000 years old. He has critically examined the views of various scholars and established the source of Mohenjodaro letters as well as the ancient civilization of Moo and has written that due to natural calamities, the island of Moo was destroyed about 2.5 lakh years ago.

Eastern Island, 1,000 miles near Japan, has a script called Rongo Rongo and it is identical with Mohenjodaro letters. This has been fixed as 1,00,000 years old.

From the Island of Moo called Lemuria, which was located near Indonesia about 2.5 lakhs years ago, people regularly moved out to Atlantis in Mexican Sea and Kumari Kandam in South Tamil Nadu, about 1,00,000 years ago due to tsunami. These letters are the script of Moo civilization, which was well developed.

From Atlantis, due to tsunami, the Moo people moved to South America and became Aztecs and Incas. Those who moved to North America became Mexicans and Red Indians.

From Kumari Kandam, South of Tamil Nadu, about 15,000 years ago people moved to Africa and became Sumerians and those who moved from Africa to Arabia later became Jews.

From Kumari Kandam, South of Tamil Nadu due to tsunami, people moved to Bengal and became Cholas and those who moved to Sind and Punjab became Cheras.

In Sillapathikaram, it was mentioned that one “Ezhuthanga Nadu” (7x7 =49 countries) existed. So, Southern Tamil Nadu and Kumari Kandam are different regions. Those who have moved to Southern Tamil Nadu were called Pandiyas and they spread over Ceylon and Tirunelvelli.

Tamil literatures say that during the Kurukshethra war, Chera Kings had given food to both the armies. From all these we come to a conclusion that the Ancient South India would have been with tall cliffs, dense forests with high fertility.

Because of a calamity, which took place in 9,000 BC, a terrific destruction occurred and destroyed Chera, Chola and Pandiya Kingdoms and they all then came and settled in South India. The great scholar Sri Avvai Duraisamy Pillai has established that the “Pancha Dravidam” is the region consisting Gujarath, Maharashtra, Andhra, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

This is the time to write the correct history of Tamil Nadu. In “Irayanar Agapporul” (Nakkeerar Urai) it is mentioned that 72 Pandiya Kings had ruled Tamil Nadu (which was inclusive of the destroyed Kumari Kandam) from 30,000 B.C. to 16,000 B.C. (i.e. for 14,000 years).

Our universities have to undertake the responsibility to arrive at the correct history of Tamil Nadu.

Research has not been done so far to assess correctly the shape and appearance of Tamil letters. Today in Tamil, three ‘La', two ‘Ra' and three ‘Na' exist. These exist in ‘Grantha' also. But in ‘Naagari', which got birth in 500 A.C., there are only one ‘La', one ‘Ra', and two ‘Na'.

M. Sundarraj, retired Financial Controller of Integral Coach Factory, who did extensive research on Rig Vedas, has written a book titled “Rig Vedic Studies”. He has explained that our Rig Vedic Mythology is the ancient one in the world. The Rig Vedic Myths are symbolic expressions of astronomical phenomena, both of lunar asterisms and solar movements.

The Rig Veda calendar was essentially a luni-solar one, the lunar aspects being considered as important for holy purposes, but the solar movements which determined the seasons, were also of importance to Rig Vedic people.

The Rig Veda has already adopted a system of grouping together the stars in the lunar zodiac in the pictorial form, such as that of a bull, scorpion, eagle etc.

The origin of the concept of constellational groupings in pictorial forms can be traced in Rig Veda.

According to N.P.Ramadurai, an astronomy researcher, the cycle of time referring to 24,320 human years is mentioned in the Rig Veda at about 50 places. But to read Rig Veda, ‘Grantha' is essential.

Also to read and grasp clearly our ‘Sangam literature' ‘Grantha' knowledge is necessary. If we thoughtfully and magnanimously accept that our old Tamil letters are ‘Grantha' letters, it will pave the way to realise our ancient civilization.

Also, to read philosophy, art, sculpture, medicine etc., ‘Grantha' will be useful. It is necessary at this stage to do intensive research on the Mohenjodaro letters and our ancient languages, Sanskrit and Tamil, and, other Indian languages, to ascertain as to how the script changed over a time and new languages evolved.

In India, Tamil and Sankrit are the oldest languages and both are origin of other languages. This fact is proved by Vedas and our Tamil Sangam Literature. Great Saint Arunagiri Nadhar says in his Thirupugazh that Tamil has 51 ‘Atcharams'. Similarly, the total number of ‘Grantha' letters is 51.

To get back the history of more than three lakh years in the past, Saptharishi calendar only will be able to provide proper and genuine assistance.

We have been able to fix the dates of history from 25th Chathur Yuga to 28th Chathur Yuga. Saptharishi Mandala has played an important role in almost all the ancient civilization of the world. It is the pivotal point of all astronomical calculations and observations.

N.P.Ramadurai, with my assistance, has found and established that the Saptha Rishi Mandala takes only 2,187 years to make one complete circle through all the 27 asterisms.

He was able to establish that Chathur Yuga comprises only 12,160 years.

I conclude with a request to all the great Tamil scholars, eminent astronomers and mathematical experts to join together in this noble research to establish the glory of Tamil language and Tamil race to the whole world.

Origin of Civilization

This is a repost from my other blog -

Sometimes we wonder, who we are, why are we here in this world, who our ancestors are, what they did. How did we end up being what we are now? Most of the time we were told, by outsiders about our roots. This post is an attempt by a commoner to put facts together and figure out the long lost history.

Science tells us once upon a time, there was a supercontinent that existed during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras about 250 million years ago, before the component continents were separated separated into their current configuration. Although there is no proof of Human evolution during this time, this geologic period, known as “Permian Period” was characterized among land vertebrates by the diversification of the early amniotes into the ancestral groups of the mammals, turtles, lepidosaurs and archosaurs. Present day India was embedded in this huge landmass sandwiched between Africa, Antarctica and Australia.
Kumari Kandam PangeaThis period is ended by the Permian–Triassic extinction event, an extinction event that occurred 251.4 million years ago forming the boundary between the Permian and Triassic geologic periods. It was the Earth's most severe extinction event, with up to 96 percent of all marine species and 70 percent of terrestrial vertebrate species becoming extinct;

Rifting and break-up of Pangaea

Pangaea began to rift from the Tethys Ocean in the east and the Pacific in the west, ultimately giving rise to the supercontinents Laurasia and Gondwana. One rift resulted in a new ocean, the North Atlantic Ocean. The second major phase in the break-up of Pangaea began in the Early Cretaceous period, when the minor supercontinent of Gondwana separated into four multiple continents (Africa, South America, India and Antarctica/Australia). During this time many new types of dinosaurs appeared or came into prominence, including psittacosaurs, spinosaurs and coelurosaurs, while other survivors from the Late Jurassic continued.

500,000 years ago

There was a vast land mass that was submerged inside the Indian Ocean. It  had a river also called "Pahruli Aaru". This land mass was there to the south of present day's Kanyakumari. Modern humans are believed to have evolved from archaic Homo sapiens, who in turn evolved from Homo erectus. Archaic homo sapiens are referred to as "Homo sapiens" because their brain size is very similar to that of modern humans. Archaic Homo sapiens had a brain size averaging 1200 to 1400 cubic centimeters, which overlaps with the range of modern humans. Archaics are distinguished from anatomically modern humans by having a thick skull, prominent brow ridges and the lack of a prominent chin.Kumari Kandam

Origin of language

The origin of language, known in linguistics as Glottogony, refers to the acquisition of the ability to use language by an earlier stage in the evolution of mankind. Robin Dunbar,a British anthropologist and evolutionary biologist, has argued that Archaic Homo sapiens were the first to use language. There was a single proto-language, sometimes called Proto-Human, from which all other languages spoken by humans descend. All human populations possess language. This includes populations, such as the Tasmanians and the Andamanese, who may have been isolated from the Old World continents for as long as 40,000 years. Two types of evidence support this theory.
  1. Gestural language and vocal language depend on similar neural systems. The regions on the cortex that are responsible for mouth and hand movements border each other.
  2. Nonhuman primates can use gestures or symbols for at least primitive communication, and some of their gestures resemble those of humans, such as the "begging posture", with the hands stretched out, which humans share with chimpanzees

200,000 to 50,000 BC: Porunai valley civilization

During this Age, other Islands elsewhere in the World were also connected to their continental neighbors - Britain to Europe; Cuba to Florida, Papua New Guinea and Tasmania to Australia and the Indonesian Isles of Sumatra, Java and Borneo to the South East Asian mainland. Ancient port cities on the coast of Eastern, Southern and Western India,
Humans have been living with a language and culture to communicate at least for 150,000 years. Any upheaval, which happened before that, is not in our cultural memory.
While the rest of the world were in dark ages, hunting and gathering food, root of civilization thrived in the region comprising the present day Tamil Nadu and the landmass south of it. The Madurai city mentioned in the ancient Tamil literature of Sangam age was located on the shores of Bay of Bengal. It submerged into the sea and the Pandya king redesigned the city at a place called Kapatapuram. This again was submerged after some time and so the King built third Madurai beyond the reaches of the sea.
Literature flourished with the establishment of first Academies of the world called Sangams. Popularly called Mudhal Sangam, this period was the beginning of grammar. The words Manthi and Manthan available in Tamil indicates that man evolved from monkey and this transformation is recorded in the first language of the world. The practice of Thenpulaththar worship that prevails in south India probably shows that they pray to their ancestors who died in sea disaster. In the Book, ‘Feeders of Indian Culture’ ,Upaththyaya  claims that the world ‘Aanmanthi’ is the root of ‘Hanumanth’. As part f the geographical transformation, Kaverippoompattinam (Puhar)  went under the sea.
Spear, once used as a tool by Hunters, became a weapon unifying civilizations. The evolution of Dravidian Marital art of Silambattam resulted in the evolution of first Army of the world. The use of Spear in various cultures ranging from the barbarians of ancient Rome, Greece, Australian aborigines, Red Indians and various negro civilizations is an ample proof that the seeds of human civilization are sowed from ancient Tamil civilization. Spear is revered as Vel or Muruga in ancient Tamil Nadu. The world “Aadhi Bagavan” in the ancient Tamil text of Thirukkural is a cryptic indication that Muruga is not a Hindu god but the God of ancient Tamils.

Aryan Contamination – Origin of Caste System

Models of the Indo-Aryan migration discuss scenarios of prehistoric migrations of the early Indo-Aryans to their historically attested areas of settlement in the northwest of the Indian subcontinent and from there further across all of North India. Claims of Indo-Aryan migration are primarily drawn from linguistic evidence but also from a multitude of data stemming from Vedic religion, rituals, poetics as well as some aspects of social organization and chariot technology.
As the Dravidian master race pushed forward towards Himalayas, it inevitably made contact with the tribal Aryans who pushed from Europe towards modern day Pakistan. Once the Aryans were conquered and subjugated , ancient Dravidian cultures started civilizing the primitive Aryan tribes. This resulted in the origin of one of the oldest religions in the world, Hinduism.
The Aryan Races, for instance, now varying from dark brown, almost black, red-brown, yellow, down to the whitest creamy color, are yet of one and the same stock  and sprang from one single progenitor,.  This Race gave birth to a new Race, gradually transforming that portion of humanity which became "black with sin" into red-yellow and finally into brown-white races -- which now, together with the yellow races, form the great bulk of humanity.
To avoid further dilution of Dravidian superiority, so called mixed marriage of an "Aryan" with a "Dravidian" was forbidden. To maintain the purity of the Dravidian master race, eugenics was practiced. In order to eliminate "defective" citizens, Euthanasia Program was administered to rid the country of the mentally retarded or those born with genetic deficiencies, as well as those deemed to be racially inferior. Many of these policies are generally seen as being related to what eventually became known as the Caste System.
